No, we charge the same rate for every child, no matter their age.

6. Do I still have to pay if my child is absent, or the daycare is
closed?
Yes, you are charged everyday regardless of attendance. This is to secure your child’s spot.
7. Do we need to provide meals or snacks for our children?
Infants, yes. You would supply their formula, water, baby food, snacks etc.
1-year olds and older, no. We provide 3 nutritionally balanced meals a day, such as breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
We follow the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Once your child turns 1, they are eligible to be enrolled in this program. The Food Program enables us to provide nutritious meals and snacks to every child. Meals and snacks served on the CACFP must meet Federal nutritional guidelines. These nutritious meals contribute to
the wellness, healthy growth, and development of children.
8. What if my child has an allergy to milk or certain foods?
If your child has an allergy, we will need a doctor’s note or excuse stating what the allergy is and that they need to be excused from that food or that they can have something else in its place. For example: Children with lactose intolerance, may substitute almond milk or any other non-dairy milk. However, the parent would be responsible for supplying this milk.
9. What is the earliest/latest we can drop our children off?
The earliest you can drop them off would be 6 am and the latest would be 9 am. That’s the cutoff every day, with the exception of doctor’s appointments, and then the cutoff would be 11 am. (MUST okay it with the Director first, in advance).
10. What time is pick up?
You can pick your child up at any time during the day. The latest you can pick them up would be 6 pm when we close. We do charge a late fee if you pick them up after 6 pm. Please ensure that you are here before then every day to pick them up.
11. What do I need to do if my child is sick?
Always inform the Director immediately if your child is running a fever, throwing up, having diarrhea, or any other symptom out of the ordinary. They may need to be seen by a doctor before they will be allowed to enter the daycare center.
Any time you bring your child to the doctor when they are sick with any minor or major illness, always get a clearance or excuse. They will not be able to return to
daycare without a doctor’s clearance or excuse. This is for the safety of all of our children and employees.
12. Does my child need to be potty trained to attend your daycare?
No, they do not need to be potty trained. We do start introducing the potty in the 1-year-old room but we focus on really potty training in our 2-year-old room. We do appreciate your cooperation at home as well so that we stay consistent with their potty routine.
13. How often should I send diapers/pull-ups?
Typically, we go through anywhere from 5-8 diapers a day depending on their daily bathroom activity. If you send a pack of 20 diapers, that’s only going to last about 4-5 days.
Depending on how potty training is going, pull-ups may last a little longer.
If you want to send a pack a week that is fine, however, the teachers will send a paper home stating when they are getting low on diapers/pull-ups to let you know to bring some.
